Quality language services in Germany – a movement focusing on quality

The association for quality language services in Germany (QUALITÄTSSPACHDIENSTE Deutschlands [QSD]), founded in 1998, is a member of the European Union of Associations of Translation Companies (EUATC). The mission of the EUATC is to be an international face for quality-oriented translation companies in Europe. The EUATC is recognised by the European Commission in Brussels.

Among the chief objectives of the QSD is increasing professionalism in translation work. A number of quality-conscious translation agencies have come together under its banner – a significant portion of which already maintained their own quality assurance systems prior to joining.
